Due to inventory shortages, COVID-related delays, and long production times, we identified an opportunity to keep customers engaged after reserving a new vehicle. Our team developed an email program that provided real-time updates using event codes to show customers exactly where their vehicle was in the production process. As the program grew from two vehicle models in 2021 to over 30 by 2023, our focus shifted to building scalable templates and streamlining the overall design system.
